My Time in America

My Time in America
My first day in America was uncomfortable because everything was different and  I did not know how to speak English. I went to a restaurant and my uncle was speaking with the waitress and i could not understand anything about what they were saying. Then, when I tried to tell her what my order was but she could not understand anything I said and she was just saying, "Sorry, what is that?" which made me feel embarrassed. After that, my uncle ordered for me.
Two months later, I went to a restaurant with my cousin and was excited to order my food by myself. Finally, my turn came and I told her what I wanted and she understood everything and I was so proud of myself because I could order without any help. After that day, every time I went out, I was more confident with my English.
