First day In America
In April 2011, I arrived Wash DC around 9:30 in the morning. I was very tired
because the trip was more than 10 hours
from Saudi Arabia. I was very excited because I have not visited America
before. I took my luggage, and I finished all the immigration paper work in. After that, I went to a hotel near the airport
and slept all the day. Next day, I went to the Saudi culture mission to sign in my name. I had two more
days in Washington so I decided to see the White House in one day and go
shopping in the other. It was a wonderful short trip. I had to retained to the hotel
early to prepare my luggage to fly to California.
LAX,
Los Angeles Airport, is amazingly huge, we struggled finding the baggage claim.
By 8:00 p.m. we arrived Riverside where
we rented our townhouse and we were exhausted. The next morning, we went to the
grocery store, we had to eat. In the evening, my friend, who was studying at
the UCR invited me for dinner. On Monday, I went to my school and took a placement
test. I was so anxious about the beginning then I used to it.

That's good for you to spent 10 hours on the plane.
ReplyDeleteI spent 25 hours for my trip, that's really bad. I always get jet lag for a week
